The Yukon Gold historical exhibit has appeared at many promotion and celebration events across the United States and Canada. This exhibit is warm, colorful and extremely professional. It entertains and educates viewers of that little known part of American/Canadian history... the Klondike Gold rush of 1897-98. It was a major historical event, capturing worldwide attention and was perhaps the most photographed event of the nineteenth century. Viewers of this exhibit stand in awe while viewing enlarged seldom seen vintage photos, informative captions and artifacts of that era.
This website contains a small sampling of the exhibit photos originally snapped by the handful of ambitious photographers who trudged the trail with goldseekers, capturing some ten thousand scenes, allowing viewers of today to seemingly follow in the footsteps and feel the human spirit of those early pioneers of a simpler time.
A master storyteller would be hard pressed to conjure a tale to surpass the true life drama of this historical event.
